THE FIGHT GOES ON PART TWO

you may think that having had a member of your family sectioned under the mental health act and admitted to a mental health hospital, you may think-fantastic-after two years of fighting through the courts and 11 phsycriatric
reports later it may be time to relax.
But no chance in just 4 weeks at the hospital where my daughter is now(refered by the nhs )part of a group which at the moment have 13 hospitals of which 5 are below the standard required by the care quality commission,i have reported 33 breaches of the code of practice.

there are also breaches of 3 serious untoward incident reporting procedures,41 post incidents review-to be held within 72 hours of the incident, and a mere 6 breaches of the human rights act.

and you can have all this for just £750 per night if you are private and i can only guess what it costs the nhs to have mentally ill people called service users maybe as much as 3 to 4 thousand pounds a week, just to have rules, regulations and guidelines ignored.
